A foodie indulgence

Hubby and I decided to head to Italiannies at TripleOne Somerset for an indulgent dinner.

As its name suggests, Italiannies serves Italian food where pasta and pizzas are freshly made.
We love it!

GOTAN Project concert

I went to watch the GOTAN Project at the Esplanade this evening with my lovely friend, A.

Gotan Project was amazing!

Gotan Project is a musical group based in Paris with eclectic genres. It is tango music yet electronica trip-hop and nu jazz.

Lovely charms

I stumbled upon Paris Bijoux at Raffles Place OUB Centre last week and discovered a treasure of charms.

I like the idea of mix and match and got myself a handful of charms and bracelets which I've put together the following:

The first bracelet is a music and nature theme. I love the little violin and clam. This shall remind me to make time for arts and nature, reflection and contemplation.

The second bracelet comes with an angel.  Isn't it lovely?

My third bracelet is a Parisian theme! I fell in love with the suitcase and poodle. This shall remind me to make time to travel in order to broaden my life experience.

Baby Cherub re-transported!

I couldn't help it! Baby Cherub wanted to explore the world thus I have to send him packing!

Light Musicians

I love the Esplanade. It brought me many much needed lunch time distraction.

These light musicians have been moving around the island and it is back at the Esplanade for now.

Update: I've the night time version!

Don't they look so adorable!

Mood of the day

Now, this is one of the days I feel awful!

And I shall completely blame it on PMS...

Baby Cherub transported

I decided to transport Baby Cherub to the world of Cath Kidston's fabric.

Baby cherub

A sweet colleague loaned me her little cherub today.
Isn't he such a sweetie?

Lunch at OverEasy

The view at OverEasy is amazing.
Lunch time at One Fullerton is always peaceful and tranquil, a world of difference from the hustle and bustle of Raffles Place although they are but one street apart.

Is it time to go back to office already??

Merlion Hotel

On our way to lunch, my colleague and I noticed a new and swanky petite hotel which was actually an art installation by Japanese artist Tatzu Nishi. It was commissioned specially for the Singapore Biennale. Tatzu Nishi was famous for such weirdly displaced rooms.

Isn't it cool to get so up close and personal with Mr Merlion?

Prayers for Japan

I was watching the news on the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

May the people in Japan be strong.

Cry me a river

An attempt in cubism

TGIF
I went for a swim after work today.

I needed some respite from work and found some creative escape with my iPhone.

Next step

There's a cool iPhone app by the Record Makers which allows you to choose a combination of pictures for the top, middle and bottom to form a picture.
This is my combination, dedicated to my brother.
